When Path of Fire originally launched, if you had the griffon, you could gain some pretty big air with the griffon masteries, by wing flapping while diving.
Congratulations on the gryphon. A tip: use your springer's charged jump to get super high up for a gryphon flight anywhere. You need to manually click the X to dismount when it is 75% charged (bar is 25% drained) in order for you to dismount while still being launched into the air.
This simply isn't true unless you had a flying mount that had the max speed of the Beetle.I can use the Griffon on pretty much any map to get to almost any location that was designed to be reachable with any other specific mount. Now I can use the Skyscale to get to literally ANY location on any map that I want to.. even breaking out of said maps if I wish.
Gryphons were actually the first flying mounts (Alliance side only) to appear in WoW - as taxis from day 1, and as player mounts in it's very first expansion. As others have pointed out, they had no abilitiesbut the gold sink version flew as fast as the taxis. 1. Reading the following in another thread: "I just realized something. With the Skyscale, this is an infinite elevator though a slow one. Get to the highest point you can with the skyscale/springer, jump with the springer, Bound of Faith, glide, mount the Skyscale (that's the first mastery and works just like the Griffon).
Yes that's how all Masteries work. Mounts are considered a mastery and all masteries are account wide. No, you will have to gather all the collections again, but this time they will be in different parts of the map. Also, the LWS4 currency requirements are doubled for each alt.
