I'm actually playing the game on the original disc and not on Steam. But I thought maybe someone would know what the solution to my problem is anyway. I installed Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy without any problems. But during the very first cutscene, the screen just flashes every 2 seconds. The cutscenes still play out and everything and I can still play, but the flashing during cutscenes is just

The most popular game mod is JA+. Has most players on it (you dont need to download anything to play on JA+ servers either). Also, with most alternate mods, you can only play those mods and no other without uninstalling them.
