*Checks* well, it was in Far Cry 3. In this one, other than the AMR which isn't as good imho, there's the SA-50. Which is a semi-auto weapon with the same kind of damage as the Z93, making it probably a bit better.
Z-93 and SA-50 with silencers are the best sniper rifles. You can get the former VERY early if you take a gyrocopter to one of the northernmost bell towers and steal if off one of the snipers. Otherwise, recurve bow with sights attached for hunting and stealth. M-79 is best sidearm imo, it's a grenade launcher.
Far Cry 4 - Z93 sniper rifle. Hi all! Just a short video using the Z93 sniper rifle that I got after finishing the mission Free Willis. Sniping is the easiest thing to do in far cry games for the longest time. You are shooting a weapon that is far outside the range of engagement for enemies at high accuracy. Sniper + silencer = win To counter this: the directors made the call to make snipers do significantly less damage, unless it's a headshot because that multiplies damage.
