I've got an Audi A6 3.0 TDI Avant (58 reg) 70000 miles on the clock, and I am slowly loosing coolant liquid. Half a pint every 2000 miles. Yesterday I saw my friend, he is a car mechanic and runs his own garage. We spent a good 30min trying to localize the leak and finally he found coolant liquid deposits under the EGR.
Hello everyone, i recently got myself an A6 C7 3.0 BiTDI 2012. with 220K km on it. The car was checked by an official dealership prior to purchase, everything went smooth, the only problem was the coolant was leaking, and i had to change some sort of a thermostat down between the heads.
Received 12 Likes on 7 Posts. 2014 A6 3.0l PCV valve. Hi Gang, I was never any good at searching for stuff with key words. Can anyone point me to any guide on replacing my PCV valve? Just came back from the dealer and they said it was bad. I have had no warning lamps come on yet. Kind of spendy from the dealer and I am pretty sure I can do it.

My 2012 A6 C7 3.0tdi quattro was leaking coolant into the v which gradually went from topping up every couple of months to every trip. I could strip the top of the ***** engine with my eyes closed now, I replaced all gaskets then replaced oil cooler with no improvement it ended up being the coolant regulating valve part number 059121737.
This is the way that i have chosen for cleaning the EGR valve, the intake manifold, the intake ports of the cylinder head and the intake valves from the carb
